   Thanks for this. I really loved that series. At times when I’ve been down in my life, watching this series was the only thing that made me smile. Also recalls memories of playing boule at Christmas time (i.e.summer in Australia), with extended family from Grandad down to the youngest pre-schooler of a grandchild.

   The article also brings back nice memories of when I stayed at Apt, in the Provence, and visited many of the little villages mentioned in the series (and the book). I feel a rewatch coming on!!
