By his second year at RADA, John Thaw was honing his craft as he performed in many student productions. His name can be seen on this programme for a 1959 production of Sheridan’s The School for Scandal. A reviewer in The Stage described his performance in the role of Snake as “convincing”. John attended RADA from, 29 September 1958 – 23 July 1960.
